About the Role: As a Caretaker, you will be responsible for:

• General Maintenance: Ensuring the school premises are in top condition, including basic repairs and upkeep.
• Cleaning and Safety: Overseeing the cleaning of classrooms, corridors, and communal spaces to maintain hygiene standards. You will also be responsible for safety checks to ensure a secure environment.
• Support: Helping with set-up for events and providing practical assistance to staff as required.
• External Grounds Maintenance: Ensuring the school grounds are tidy and safe, including maintaining paths, gates, and playgrounds.

Key Skills & Experience:

• Experience in maintenance or a similar care taking role (desirable but not essential).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
• A positive, can-do attitude with good communication skills.
• Ability to follow health and safety regulations.
• A flexible and proactive approach to work.

Requirements:

• An Enhanced Child DBS or willingness to undertake one (we can help with this).
• Legal right to work in the UK.
• Comprehensive CV covering the last 10 years of education/employment history with any breaks explained.
