Altum Consulting are pleased to be partnering with one of our most prestigious clients to support their search for a Cash Manager to join their highly successful finance and treasury department located in Amsterdam.

Our client is one of the world's largest investment firms with over 20+ offices located globally, with Amsterdam being a main HQ for their Dutch B.V. They are an award winning business with a highly international and diverse team that since 2020, have achieved world record targets and are continuously pushing to surpass their successes.

Our client is now looking to add to their already high-performing treasury team and are looking to hire a goal-focused Cash Manager who will report directly to the Treasury Operations Manager.

Role & Responsibilities;-

• Take the lead on liquidity management by managing the liquidity position across the business
• Be the process leader for all payment operations by managing the outgoing payments and controlling the incoming payments
• Ensure your work is fully compliant and under the correct controlled environment being familiar with the various laws, regulations and procedures
• Build and maintain strong relationships with the banks and regularly communicate with them on subjects such as payments and FX-transactions
• Work with the wider finance team and other stakeholders by supporting various ad-hoc requests

Education & Experience

• 5+ years of experience working within the field of Treasury/Cash Management (ideally middle or back office)
• Educated with an MBO, Bachelor or Masters degree. Certification in Cash Management is advantageous
• Knowledge of working within an international financial institution is a plus
• Sound knowledge of relevant regulations, laws and procedures such as;- AIFMD, EMIR and SOX
• Strong attention to detail with an analytical mind-set
• Manage and execute your work load timely and effectively
• Process driven and comfortable working in an operational and fast-paced role
• Strong IT skills and experienced working with various treasury systems and electronic banking
• Fluency in English is essential (any additional languages are a benefit)
