CAT B Delivery Driver - Driver Hire Southampton : Job Details

We have an exciting position available for experienced van delivery drivers to join a dynamic and sustainable company based in Southampton. This company is rapidly growing and specialises in delivering a wide range of office supplies across the South Coast.

Position Overview: This is a 12-week temp-to-perm role, offering the chance to secure a full-time permanent position upon successful completion. You'll be part of a supportive team, working with a company that prioritises sustainability and quality service.

Key Responsibilities:

• 12-week temp-to-perm position with long-term career prospects
• Monday to Friday work schedule
• Start time is 7am, till deliveries are completed
• Complete 30-45 drops per day, delivering office supplies
• Drive a long wheel-based van (Sack truck provided)
• Ensure safe and efficient deliveries of office stationery to businesses across the South Coast

What We Are Looking For:

• Full UK driving license is essential
• Previous multi-drop delivery experience is preferred
• Physically fit and able to manage manual handling and lifting tasks
• Excellent timekeeping to ensure timely deliveries
• Strong customer service and communication skills to provide exceptional service to our clients
• Familiarity with manual handling techniques and safety procedures
• Own transport to commute to and from work.
