Based in the innovative heart of Gaydon, this 12 month maternity cover offers an excellent umbrella rate of £41.41 per hour (inside IR35), reflecting the importance and value of the role within the company.

What You Will Do:

• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and supplier representatives to implement and manage contracts, aligning procurement strategies with business needs.
• Define both strategy and sourcing, managing contracts and supplier relationships, requiring regular interaction with senior stakeholders and external suppliers.
• Develop and deliver procurement strategies to purchase services, ensuring value for money and fit-for-purpose solutions.
• Lead strategic activities to form Strategic Category Plans (SCPs), optimizing the supply base in line with SCP content.
• Effectively manage supplier relationships and performance, ensuring annual budget savings are met.
• Engage closely with key stakeholders to maximize purchasing influence, aligning with purchasing processes and policies.

What You Will Bring:

• Proven experience in Indirect Procurement services category, particularly within a strategic management role.
• Strong negotiation skills and experience dealing with international supply bases.
• Demonstrated ability in strategy development, sourcing, contract management, and supplier relationship management.
• Excellent project management and organisational skills, with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels.
• Relevant Degree or equivalent (CIPS) qualification preferred.
