Category Manager - Indirects - Butler Ross : Job Details

Butler Ross are continuing to support the world's fastest growing airport with their recruitment, and are looking for a talented category manager (or contract manager) to join our client on a permanent hybrid-working basis (3 days a week on site). This position will be supporting the Security Operations team with indirect procurement (areas such as Design & Engineering, Services), across a total team spend of circa £300 million.

Your responsibilities will be:

• Assisting in the creation, development and maintenance of effective category management plans and strategy
• Direct execution of procurement/sourcing activity
• Negotiating and Drafting contractual documentation and delivering required amendments
• Adhering to agreed processes for supplier and contract management, (analytics, performance, risk-reward, exit strategies)

Ideally you will have:

• A good knowledge and practical experience relating to various contract models
• Direct experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong supplier relationship management experience
• Strong stakeholder management capabilities (including presenting concise and detailed briefs up to exec. level)
