Your new company:I am delighted to be working with a national Financial Services organisation as they search for a Category Manager to lead their Shared/Professional Services spend. This is an excellent company which values autonomy and professional development above all else. Your new role:In this role you will be:

  • Creating and implementing category plans for the wider company
  • Focusing on achieving cost savings in your category
  • Liaising with suppliers and stakeholders daily
  • Engaging in a mix of BAU and project work
  • Managing and negotiating contracts

What you'll need to succeed:The ideal candidate will have:

  • Excellent procurement experience within a similar category i.e. managing MSPs, HR services, consultancy spend etc.
  • Experience in Financial Services (or other regulated environment) is preferred
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to take initiative and work autonomously
  • Strong commercial acumen
