### Job IntroductionWe are currently recruiting for exciting opportunities to join Turning Pointand be part of our highly successful and innovative NHS Talking Therapiesservice. At Wakefield Talking Therapies we specialise in evidence–basedpsychological therapies and we are looking for qualified High Intensity CBTTherapists to join the team.We support people in the local area who are having difficulty in coping andwho may be suffering from a common mental illness such as depression, anxietyor phobias. Our approach embeds the notion of well–being and recovery andpromotes personal responsibility for lifestyle choices and self–management ofmental well–being. For our clients, this has resulted in a highly accessibleand user–friendly service available across a wide geographical area.We provide excellent opportunities for development in this role through accessto training around areas of specialism such as supervision, long-termconditions, cultural diversity etc. You will work with your supervisor andline manager to make sure development and CPD plans are in place for yourongoing growth. There are also many opportunities for career progression intoareas of leadership or further clinical training.This is a hybrid role with presence in the service required (23 days perweek).This is a full-time, fixed-term contract maternity cover role for 9 months.We offer £1,200 joining bonus.### Role ResponsibilityWhether you are an experienced CBT Therapist or you are newly qualified,you’ll join our team in Wakefield delivering step 3 high intensityinterventions and as a key member of the team, you will be working closelywith our clinical team to maintain our high standard and help us to developthis further.As a CBT Therapist you’ll be managing your own caseload providing evidencebased treatments. We offer a high standard of in house clinical supervisionand training with BABCP accredited supervisors. We offer regular masterclassesto upskill our therapists and support their career development as well asopportunities to access additional modality training.### The Ideal CandidateYou will need to hold a qualification in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy andhave BABCP accreditation or be eligible and working towards this. Alongsideextensive experience of working within Mental Health, you’ll have a provenability to develop good therapeutic relationships with clients and workingrelationships with your colleagues.In return, you’ll enjoy the scope and support to enhance your own life andcareer too, as you gain the experience and training you need to progress inyour career with us.
