About the role

As part of our small, dedicated team in Northampton, you will assist the Cemetery Manager in managing the team of operatives as well as assisting with a range of tasks when required, including the preparation, excavation and backfilling of graves and general maintenance of a number of cemetery grounds in the Northampton area. It will be key that they remain tidy, well-kept and respectful for visitors and loved ones. 

Requirements

• Can-do attitude and safety-conscious mindset.
• Physically fit and able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
• Previous grave digging experience.
• Previous experience of using dumper trucks up to 3.5 tonnes & 360 excavators up to 5 tonnes.
• Willingness to learn and work well in a team.
• COTS - Cemetery Operatives Training Scheme qualifications would be preferred.
• Full UK Driving license is essential.
