Mount Pleasant GC is more than just a Golf Club. We pride ourselves on having a high quality on site restaurant that offers more than just food for golfers. We serve breakfast lunch and dinner and are also a thriving events venue hosting regular weddings, wakes, christenings etc.

We are looking for a talented and experienced chef to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food and cooking, and be able to create delicious and creative dishes. They will also be able to work well under pressure and be organised and efficient.

The taking of deliveriesFood preparationProducing specialsPrepare, cook, and present food quickly and efficiently to a high standardMonitor portion size and wasteEnsure you have everything you need ready for service both food and utensilsEnsure all food is labelled and dated with use by dateEnsure stock is used in order to limit wastageCommunicate with the Bar staff with regard to any changes to the menu or specialsWashing up area, including putting away all dishes and cutleryComplete tasks set out by the Head ChefShare any ideas or ways to improve things that you think could help to move the business forwardRunning and maintaining standards, ordering etc in the absence of the head chefBenefits:
