Job Description

  • Job Type: Permanent
  • Working hours: 48 hours per week

As a Chemist Inspector, you will be responsible for inspecting and testing oil and gas products to ensure they comply with quality and safety standards. You will work closely with our laboratory team to maintain our commitment to excellence.

This is a laboratory and field based role. You will be required to collect the samples from the vessels, and conduct the analysis within the laboratory. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct chemical inspections and analyses on oil and gas products.
  • Cargo supervision & Inspection services.
  • Document and report findings accurately and promptly.
  • Assist in maintaining and calibrating laboratory equipment.
  • Work closely with the production team to address any quality concerns.
  • Adhere to all safety and environmental regulations.

Qualifications

  • Full driving license eligible to use in the UK. 
  • Experience of working in an industrial environment.
  • Experience in a laboratory or quality control role, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Familiarity with industry standards and safety protocols.
