Job Introduction

Children's Healthcare AssistantPay rate: £14.50 per hour (monthly pay)Shift Pattern: 8am - 6:30pm and 10pm - 7am Shifts Available

We have an amazing opportunity for the right person to work with an individual living in their family home in Weymouth. This person has a tracheostomy and a ventilator and requires an alert and proactive healthcare assistant to build a strong relationship with the person we support and the family to assist with day to day tasks. We need people who are close to Weymouth and know the area well so a Full UK Driving License would be beneficial but not mandatory.

You will bring an empathetic approach to truly make a difference to this person's life so you will need to bring previous experience in the following:

  • Childcare Experience
  • Tracheostomy 
  • Ventilator
  • Gastronomy

What will your shift involve?

In this role, you will be providing exceptional care on a 1:1 basis, for a young child, ensuring that they receive compassionate and attentive care tailored to their specific needs. Your responsibilities will include working with the person we support and their family to support with Tracheostomy and Ventilator management. You will also support with household tasks to maintain a clean and organized living environment.
