Pay Rate:£24.14 per hour

Hours / Shift: 37.5 hours per week / Mon -Fri 8.30am- 4.30pm

The Role:

Hertfordshire Community Trust are seeking a passionate Band 6 Children’s Physiotherapist to bring their expertise to its well established and supportive multi-disciplinary therapy team. Working on a long-term contract, you’ll thrive on finding strategies to meet a range of patient specific needs and goals, whilst providing exceptional care that supports our mature patients on their journey to greater independence.

What you can add:

  • To provide a highly specialised physiotherapy assessment, treatment and advice service for children and young people with a wide variety of physical, cognitive, emotional and sensory difficulties, including those with complex needs.
  • To provide expert physiotherapy advice, guidance and information to health, education and social care professionals, carers and relatives and other non-professionals.
  • To take an active role, working with the team, in the development of the children’s physiotherapy service in Hertfordshire.
  • To be professionally and legally accountable for all aspects of your own work including assessment, clinical decision making, treatment selection and evaluation of treatment and to maintain records as an autonomous practitioner.
  • To be responsible for the mentoring and supervision of junior staff member/s and student Physiotherapists.

What you will need:

  • You’ll hold a Degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent and ideally have experience of working in an Occupational Therapist team
  • Be HCPC registered
  • Previous NHS experience is preferred but not essential
  • Full, UK driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes

In addition to experience, all Qualified roles will be required to provide evidence of:

  • Relevant Qualifications
  • Registration with the relevant Registration Body if applicable.
