Position:Children's Home ManagerContract Type: Full-time (Monday to Friday, 9 AM - 5 PM)Salary: Competitive, with joining bonus and half-yearly performance bonuses, as well as yearly bonuses. Private healthcare included.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the day-to-day operation of the children’s home, ensuring the highest standards of care and compliance with OFSTED regulations.
  • Provide strong leadership and support to a team of dedicated staff, fostering a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Develop individualised care plans for each child, ensuring their needs are met and that they receive the support required for their personal development.
  • Work collaboratively with families, external agencies, and the local community to support the well-being and progress of the children.
  • Monitor and evaluate the home's performance, implementing strategies for improvement and ensuring the home meets all regulatory requirements.

Requirements:

  • Must be a Registered Manager with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in children’s homes.
  • Proven experience with OFSTED inspections and compliance.
  • NVQ Level 5 in Leadership and Management (or equivalent).
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a genuine passion for working with children.
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
