We are looking for a Social Worker with at least 3 years’ experience for the Safeguarding Children’s team. The successful candidate must have knowledge of:-

• Child Protection and CIN• Court• Reports• Working within statutory deadlines, etc within a Safeguarding Team

Flexible working in place- balance between working from home/office and statutory visits to meet the needs of the service. Must be able to travel to Bolton be office based at short notice if demands require.Candidates need to be able to undertake duty and home visits. Caseload will be across Bolton with office base at Castle Hill. Depending on experience successful candidates will be allocated across the SG teams and serviceFree on-site parking

• DIPSW or equivalent qualification in Social Work
• Social Work England registration
• Enhanced and in date DBS certificate.
• Excellent communication skills and be able to make good decisions based on information available.
• Can work alone and within/contribute to a team/multi-agency set ups
• Possess knowledge of service needs.
• Competent IT skills and be able to navigate electronic file/recording systems.
• Can write clear, concise, and robust assessment/reports/files.
• Have a flexible approach to work and working hours when the need arises
