Are you seeking for a new exciting Children's Home Manager role?

Salary: £50,000 per annum + Performance-Related Bonus (up to 21% of annual salary) + £5,000 Joining Bonus

  • Our client is a well-established provider of residential care for children and young people, committed to providing a nurturing and supportive environment. They operate several homes in the local area, fostering a strong network of support and collaboration. This role is based at a 4-bed home in Warminster.

    About the Role:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Children's Home Manager to lead a dedicated team in providing exceptional care and support to young people. The successful Children’s Home manager will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the home, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care, and fostering a positive and nurturing environment.

    As the Children’s Home Manager, you will be responsible for:

    • Delivering and monitoring the care and progress of the children and young people.
    • Leading, managing, and motivating a team of 25 staff members.
    • Developing and implementing care plans and risk assessments.
    • Facilitating care-focused training to a QCF Level 3 standard.
    • Managing the home's budget and demonstrating sound financial performance.
    • Contributing to the development and implementation of the home's policies and procedures.
    • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legislation, including the Children Act 1989.

    Requirements:

    • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Children and Young People's Workforce.
    • Thorough knowledge of the Children Act 1989 and other relevant legislation.
    • Experience working with children and young people with Emotional and Behavioural Difficulties (EBD).
    • 3 year's experience at a senior level within a children's residential care setting.
    • Full UK driving licence.
