United Care Solutions Limited are looking for experienced Support Workers to join our exciting Children's Residential Care Service located in Newport, South Wales.Working within our impressive new residential home, your main objective will be to ensure a high standard of care is provided throughout our service to our children. You must be willing to create and deliver a therapeutic environment to ensure the children receive the highest standard of care and are able to learn the skills and independence they can carry with them into adulthood.

Waking Night positions also available.

Salary and Benefits

  • Starting Salary of £12.08 per hour.

Requirements

  • Recent experience working as a Support Worker
  • Recent experience of working with Children with additional needs,
  • Registered with Social Care Wales (preferred)
  • QCF Level 2/3 in Social Care (desirable, can be signed up on employment start.)
  • Full UK Driving Licence. (Desirable)

Schedule

Due to all of our children being in full time education the shift patterns are as follows.

  • During term time Monday- Friday 2pm-9pm / 2pm-10pm with sleep in
  • Weekends & School holidays 9am-9pm / 9am-10pm with sleep in
  • Waking Nights 9pm - 9am
  • Average work week 40 hours per week

Salary : 12.08 - 12.08
