Learning Support Assistant - Complex Needs

Prospero Teaching are working closely with a large organisation who provide educational support to children with significant learning difficulties, autism and behavioural challenges. The schools and colleges support students aged 11-25 years old and is based in Oldham and Tameside and are easily accessed by road and public transport links and offers free parking on site.

The Role will consist of:

• Providing tailored support and working with children with SEN and complex needs
• Personal care is involved
• Creating a safe environment that allows children and other students have fun, learn and succeed
• Academic support

The Ideal candidate:

• Experience of supporting pupils with SEN on a voluntary or paid basis OR/ experience of supporting those with complex needs in a care setting
• Driven, energetic and keen to pursue a career in education and special needs

Position Details:

• LOCATION - Oldham & Tameside
• POSITION - Complex Needs Learning Support Assistant
• CONTRACT TYPE - Temporary - Permanent
• MINIMUM DAILY RATE - £90
• HOURS - Full time Monday - Friday 8.30am -3.40pm
• START DATE - ASAP
