Key Responsibilities:
- Manage or assist with a diverse caseload of civil litigation matters, including but not limited to:
o Contractual disputes
o Employment matters
o Settlement agreements
o TOLATA (Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act) cases
o Neighbour/boundary disputes
o Will and inheritance disputes
- Conduct legal research, draft legal documents, and correspond with clients, solicitors, and other parties.
- Prepare cases for litigation and manage the procedural aspects of cases through to settlement or trial.
- Offer professional advice and support to clients while maintaining high levels of client care and service.
- Ensure compliance with statutory legislation and relevant legal procedures.
Requirements:
- Experience in civil litigation is essential.
- Experienced fee earner, solicitor or legal executive
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
