Claim Validator / Senior Claim Validator - Downtown Recruitment : Job Details

Based in Aylesbury, my well-established client is looking for someone to join their claims team. This position will require exceptional negotiation skills and a talent for building strong relationships, along with a passion for collaborative team work. Reviewing and assessing submissions from a network of specialists will demand a high level of attention to detail and natural investigative qualities to ensure property is back at pre-loss condition as quickly as possible. Other responsibilities will include ensuring schedules are appropriate and efficient, liaise with clients, contractors and suppliers, and offering support and guidance to everyone within the network. Previous experience in claims validation or strong insurance experience is desirable but not essential. Previous office experience is a requirement, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

This position requires in-depth contact with supplier, contractors etc, to manage repairs, so any knowledge or experience in construction is highly desirable.

What you’ll be doing:

• Building relationships with network of suppliers
• Ensuring communication between all key stakeholders
• Validation of costs and claim coverage
• Final reconciliation of work carried out
• Ensuring service levels are adhered to
• Applying client philosophies to work schedules
• Liaising with operatives and clients to agree a scope of work
• Ensuring repair schedules are appropriate and efficient
• Offering support and guidance to everyone within the network
• Effectively navigating any issues

Previous experience validating claims, strong insurance experience or experience with the drying industry is beneficial for the Claim Validator position and essential for the Senior Claim Validator position. You will also need a natural attention to detail and an ability to problem solve effectively, with proven experience in an office environment with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Monday to Friday - 9am to 5.30pm, 1 hour for lunch

2-3 days a week working from home.

Wage will be dependent on experience (Claim Validator £23.900-£26,000 / Senior Claim Validator £27,000-£30,000). Bonus scheme available.
