Our client is looking for a claims administrator to join their team on a 1-year fixed term contract!
Key Responsibilities:
Claims Administration
- Assess and process paper and emailed claims within the terms and conditions of the cash plan.
- Update and maintain policyholder records.
- Assess and process claims ranging from Dental, Optical and Medical categories.
- Take daily claims and policy related telephone calls from our policyholders.
- Maintain a daily claims processing target of 70 claims per day.
Call Handling and Customer Care
- Respond in a prompt, friendly and helpful and timely manner to all telephone calls from existing policyholders and potential policyholders.
- Provide policyholders with accurate information and guidance regarding our schemes, balances left to claim.
- Ensure the complete and effective resolution of the immediate queries or concerns at first point of contact.
- Action simple requests such as sending out claim forms and balance checks
- Make minor amendments to cover details/personal data e.g. change of address.
- Ensure policyholder satisfaction is exceeded by proactively highlighting trends, suggesting and implementing improvements via feedback to your manager.
- Strive to continually improve personal performance to achieve excellent service levels for the team.
- Take responsibility for continuous self-development and own learning.
Miscellaneous
- Undertake any other general duties to be carried out as directed.
- Maintain co-operative relationships with all Departments by supporting colleagues
