Location: Longbenton, NewcastleSalary: £24,000 - £26,000Start Date: 26th March 2025Shifts: Monday to Sunday, 8 AM - 8 PM (8-week rotational shift pattern)

We are looking for an experienced Customer Claims Advisor to join our team in Newcastle. As the first point of contact for customers in often challenging circumstances, you’ll play a vital role in supporting individuals through difficult times, including dealing with sensitive claims. Your professionalism, compassion, and expertise will make a real impact on our customers’ lives.

What We’re Looking For:

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in customer-facing roles such as contact centers, financial services, or retail/hospitality
• A strong track record in customer service, especially handling sensitive and complex situations
• The ability to stay calm and professional under pressure, even during emotionally charged conversations
• Flexibility to work within an 8-week rotational shift pattern, covering Monday to Sunday from 8 AM to 8 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Be the first point of contact for customers filing insurance claims
• Collect all necessary information to process claims efficiently
• Offer emotional support and reassurance, ensuring a compassionate approach during difficult times
• Arrange supplementary services such as car hire when needed
