Reed Business Support are delighted to be partnering with a rapidly growing insurance company to recruit for a Claims Handler based Rotherham. This role is ideal for someone with a strong background in motor trade claim insurance or liability and property insurance. As a Claims Handler, you will manage and process insurance claims, ensuring timely and accurate resolutions while providing exceptional customer service.
Day-to-day of the role:
- Manage and process a variety of insurance claims, including motor trade, liability, and property insurance
- Investigate and evaluate claims to determine coverage and liability
- Communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, and other stakeholders
- Ensure all claims are handled in compliance with company policies and industry regulations
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all claims and related documentation
- Provide exceptional customer service and support to clients throughout the claims process
- Identify and report any potential fraud or suspicious activity
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Proven experience in handling motor trade claim insurance or liability and property insurance
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of Acturis Software
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficient in using claims management software and other relevant tools
- High attention to detail and organisational skills
- Knowledge of industry regulations and best practices
- A full, clean UK driving license and access to a vehicle (Preferred)
