Key Responsibilities of a Claims Handler:

• Taking details from customers, gathering evidence, and collecting documents
• Checking that the claim is covered by the policy and that premiums have been paid

• Providing guidance on the claims process and explaining why a claim may not be covered

• Keeping records of claim status, monitoring progress, and investigating fraudulent claims

Key Skills and Experience of a Claims Handler:

• Previous experience in either Motor, Employers Liability or Public Liability Claims
• Strong communication skills, with the confidence to negotiate are required
• Fantastic listening skills and an empathetic nature are essential for this role
• Passionate about delivering exceptional customer service
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment is required
