We are recruiting for an experienced Insurance Claims Handler with good knowledge of commercial insurance to join a well established insurance broker in the heart of Cambridge. This is a permanent position working Monday to Friday 8.30am-5.30pm with a salary of £28-40,000 per annum dependent on experience plus hybrid working (3 days office, 3 days home) + excellent benefits package!!As Insurance Claims Handler you will be working closely with the Commercial Account Executives to assist with negotiating with insurers and providing tailored insurance advice and first-class customer service to clients. Main duties will include:
- Administer a portfolio of client insurance plans in a professional and ethical manner following agreed procedures
- Handle a full range of commercial business across all classes
- You will be the client’s first point of contact for cover queries, mid-term adjustments, quotations for additional insurances, document issues and many other tasks and projects.
- Enquiries come from existing clients, the web, commercial executives, introducers, by recommendations and up and cross selling
We are really keen to hear from applicants with the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience as an Insurance Claims Handler within the commercial insurance market
- Excellent customer service and administration skills are required
- Attention to detail is paramount
- Cert CII qualified ideally however you must be prepared to undertake the training to gain this professional qualifcation
- Confident in using MS Office and Insurance IT packages
