We are seeking several dedicated and experienced Team Managers to oversee the management of various Motor Claims Teams within a dynamic environment, within Northampton.
Reporting to Senior Management, your key responsibilities include:
- Supervise and guide Claims Handlers to ensure adherence to agreed SLA's and KPI's.
- Approve claims settlements within allocated financial boundaries.
- Ensure team proficiency in policy wordings, internal guides and processes.
- Collaborate with clients to meet specific needs, attending review meetings as needed.
- Maintain accurate reserves and controlled costs.
- Work closely with other departments, for litigated cases to ensure compliance with standards.
- Act as the main point of contact for any escalations and resolve complaints promptly.
- Ensure timely completion of annual appraisals, monthly 1-2-1 sessions and agreed development plans.
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Claims Team Leader in a regulated environment, whilst it would be ideal if your experience is within MotorClaims, we can consider those from variousclaims background.
- Commitment to exceptional client service, with a clear understanding of best practices.
- Proven technical expertise and overall general insurance knowledge.
- Ability to create a positive work environment and inspire colleagues and team members.
- Proactive approach to learning and development for yourself and your team.
In return, you will receive a base salary to £40,000, along with a comprehensive and market leading benefits package. These roles require you to be in the office 2-3 days per week.
