CLASS 1 DAY DRIVER

MONDAY - FRIDAY: 03.00 - 06.00 STARTS

£15.00 PER HOUR

People Solutions are looking for a Class 1 Day Driver for our client based in Rochdale. Are you an experienced and motivated Class 1 Driver who’s looking for a new role within a well-established organisation?

Day to Day Duties

• Drive Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently
• Complete up to 5 deliveries per shift
• Ensuring all loads are safe and secure
• Carry out vehicle inspections and report any faults to management
• Make sure deliveries are made in a timely manner
• Communicate any issues / delays effectively
• Abide by all working time rules and regulations

Essential Skills

• Held a valid UK Category CE Driving Licence for at least 12 months
• Hold a valid CPC & Digi Card
• No more than six points for MINOR offences (No IN10, DR10, DD10)
• Good customer service and communication skills

Desirable Experience

• Previous experience driving Class 1 vehicles commercially

Training

• Training provided on first shift.
