Class 1 Driver - Rapier : Job Details

Rapier Employment are looking for Class 1 drivers to support our well-known client based in Didcot. Assessments available to drivers who are available 5 out of 7 days or looking for additional shifts.** This is a great opportunity for someone who has a minimum of6 months Class 1 experience **Position: Class 1 DriverPay: £17.00 - £18.63 per hour - overtime up to £25.09 per hourHours: AM (07:00 earliest) & PM (16:00 latest) start times availableDays: This role is great if you are looking for adhoc days through the week. Saturday-Monday availability would be an advantageRole includes, and not limited to:

• Transport goods between different locations, ensuring efficient delivery schedules
• Safely operate a Class 1 vehicle for trunking operations, adhering to company policies
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle and report any issues
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery details
• Communicate effectively with the transportation team and other drivers to coordinate trunking operations

Requirements:

• Class 1 with a minimum 6 months driving experience
• No more than 6 points on your licence
• Strong knowledge of road safety and excellent driving skills
• Available to work weekdays and weekends
• Full UK licence, valid CPC card and digital tacho card
