HGV Class 1 Drivers Wanted – Day & Night Shifts AvailableRapier Employment Ltd is hiring HGV Class 1 Drivers for DHL in Welham Green, Hertfordshire. Immediate starts with competitive pay rates.Day Shift:

• Pay: £20.66 per hour (Overtime £27.48 after 46.25 hours)
• Saturday: £27 per hour | Sunday: £28 per hour
• Shifts: Thursday-Monday or Friday-Tuesday
• Various start times | 5 days guaranteed work
• Holiday pay

Night Shift:

• Pay: £24.58 per hour (Overtime £27.48 after 46.25 hours)
• Saturday: £27 per hour | Sunday: £28 per hour
• Shifts: Thursday-Monday or Friday-Tuesday | Start times: 7 PM - 5 AM
• 5 days guaranteed work
• Holiday pay

The ideal candidate will have a valid HGV Class 1 license, relevant experience in driving heavy goods vehicles, and a good understanding of safety regulations and procedures.Responsibilities:

• Safely operate Class 1 vehicles to transport goods.
• Ensure timely delivery and collection of products.
• Perform pre- and post-trip vehicle inspections.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs.
• Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety regulations.
• Follow all traffic laws and company policies as well as company policies and procedures.
• Handle roller cages as needed, assisting sites with movement when required.

Requirements:

• Valid Class 1 (C+E) driving license (Held 1 year +).
• Minimum 6 month of experience as a Class 1 Driver.
• No more than six penalty points on licence and no major endorsement codes.
• In-date CPC (Driver Certificate of Professional Competence)
• Digital Tachograph Card
• A good understanding of Drivers hours, Regulations, and Working time directive.
