Class 1 Shunter - Gi Group : Job Details

GI Group are working with a global leader in packaging & paper to find a Class 1 Driver to join their Sheffield team on a permanent basis. Key Requirements include:

• HGV CLASS 1 License (No more than 6 points for minor speeding offences)
• Min 12 months experience HGV driving required
• Valid CPC and Tacho 

The role:

• Rotating shift pattern (2 weeks days / 2 weeks nights)
• Monday to Friday: Days (£15 per hour)
• Sunday to Thursday: Nights (£19 per hour Sundays, £16 per hour Monday-Thursday)
• Days: 3/4 timed deliveries across the North of England
• Nights: Shunting between 2 sites (1 mile apart) and moving vehicles around the yard

Person Profile:

• Safety focused HGV Driver
• Customer Relations Focus
• Strong communication skills both verbal and written
• Self-motivated and willing to work flexible hours
