• Contract: Permanent  / 40 Hours per week.
• Hourly Rate: £16.25 per hour plus overtime paid at enhanced rates.
• Location: DPD Dagenham Unit 2, Orion Park, Messina Way, Dagenham, RM9 6FF.
• Days of Work: Monday to Friday.
• Hours of Work: 01:00 to 09:00

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and dedicated Class 1 Tug Driver / Shunter.

 Your key responsibilities will include;

• Movement of trailers/tugs through the confines of the yard in a safe responsible action.
• Adhering to yard Health and Safety procedures and regulations at all times
• Reporting any damage seen or that may have occurred during movements of trailers
• Occasional Delivery and Warehouse Work 

Qualifications

What we’re looking for;

• The ability to work efficiently within a fast paced and  pressured environment to ensure that our yard operation runs as smoothly as possible
• Have experience in a similar position
• Hold a Class 1 LGV Licence (C + E)
• A current driver CPC card  
• Demonstrate the core DPD DNA values of Passion, Respect, Honesty, Flexibility, Hard Work and Accountability.
