Class 2 Driver - First Military Recruitment : Job Details

JR199: Class 2 DriverLocation: NewburySalary: £32,328 Per Annum Overview:  First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Class 2 Driver on behalf of one of our clients.  Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration. Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Driver 4,6 or 8 wheel rigid vehicles delivering ready mixed concrete from company sites to customer locations.
• Achieve agreed daily work targets.
• Carry out daily vehicle maintenance checks and safety checks.
• Complete, issue and record transaction documents as instructed.

Skills and Qualifications:  

• Clean Class 2 licence.
• Valid CPC and digi-tacho cards.
• Previous experience driving a concrete mixer or similar vehicles with transferable skills (fuel tankers etc).
• Conscientious, hard-working and physically fit to carry out manual handling activities.
• Able to work effectively as part of a team and recognise the importance of excellent customer service.
