Classroom Assistant Position Details:

• Salary: £16,282.50 - £17,282.50 (per annum - pro rata)
• Location:Newbury, West Berkshire
• Hours:08:30am - 3:30pm, Term-Time Only
• Start Date: ASAP

Your Classroom Assistant Responsibilities:

• Provide individual and small group support to children with Autism, adapting learning to their needs.
• Work closely with teachers and SENCOs to implement tailored education and behaviour plans.
• Help create a calm, structured, and engaging classroom environment that promotes confidence and independence.

Who We're Looking For:

• Experience working with children with Autism, ADHD, or additional needs (school-based or other relevant settings).
• A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to supporting young learners.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with staff, parents, and external professionals.
• A valid Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
