Cleaner - Reed : Job Details

• Pay Rate: Up to £14.50 per hour
• Location: Russell Square, London
• Job Type: Temporary (2nd December to 20th December and 6th January to 31st January)

This role is essential in ensuring our premises not only meet health and safety standards but also provide a pleasant atmosphere for everyone who walks through our doors.

• Perform routine cleaning tasks according to the established schedule, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming.
• Ensure all areas are cared for and inspected according to standards.
• Safeguard equipment and ensure there are no inadequacies.
• Report any damages, deficits, and disturbances to management.
• Handle reasonable complaints/requests with professionalism and patience.
• Manage stocking levels of all consumables and replace when appropriate.
• Strictly adhere to health and safety regulations and be aware of any company-related practices.

• Proven experience as a cleaner or in a similar role.
• Familiarity with material safety data sheets.
• Ability to handle heavy equipment and machinery used in cleaning.
• Ability to walk, bend, push, pull and lift repetitively during working hours.
• Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Self-motivation and the ability to identify and complete needed tasks without direct supervision.
