Cleaning Staff - Prospero Teaching : Job Details

Prospero Teaching are seeking a number of Cleaners across Southampton and Winchester to join our wonderful schools. The successful candidates will be dedicated to providing a clean and safe environment for students and staff.

As a Cleaner, you will:

• Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming classrooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Clean and sanitise restrooms, staff rooms, and other facilities.
• Ensure all areas are maintained to a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene.
• Replenish cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
• Identify and report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
• Follow health and safety regulations and school policies.

About you:

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good time management skills and reliability.
• Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends.

  Essential & Desirable Qualifications/ requirements:

• • Previous experience in a cleaning role is preferred but not essential.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards.

• To be eligible for this role through Prospero teaching, you must:

  • Hold right to work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide references upon request
  • Possess up to date Safeguarding Training (or a willingness to undertake this)
