Cleaning Supervisor - Redway HR Ltd : Job Details

Salary: £32,000 per annum plus benefits

Hours: Full time, 39 hours per week

St Paul's Cathedral is looking for a new recruit to supervise their friendly cleaning service team, working in the Cathedral and its associated buildings. This is a fantastic opportunity to work behind the scenes of one of the most iconic buildings in the world, keeping it safe and clean for all its visitors and staff to an excellent standard.

In this role, you will be responsible for the allocation of workloads, setting work priorities and monitoring progress and performance through review and 1-2-1’s. You will also manage holiday and work rotas, conduct training, manage stock and be involved in improving workplace sustainability.

We are looking for you to:

· have experience of working in a similar role;

· be an effective supervisor of people, able to conduct 1-2-1’s, train and motivate others;

· have experience of using software to plan, schedule and allocate tasks;

· be able to build strong and effective working relationships and be a good team player; and

· be able to work at heights and climb the many staircases in the Cathedral, including the 500+ steps up to the galleries.
