We are currently looking for a reliable Cleanroom Operative to join a prestigious aerospace company. This role offers the opportunity to work in a controlled cleanroom environment, ensuring aerospace components are assembled, inspected, and packaged in line with stringent cleanliness and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assemble, inspect, and package aerospace components in a cleanroom environment, adhering to detailed work instructions and quality standards.
- Handle materials and components using appropriate cleanroom techniques, including wearing gloves, gowns, masks, and other protective gear.
- Perform visual inspections of components for defects, contamination, or damage, utilizing microscopes or other magnification tools as needed.
- Clean and maintain workstations, tools, and equipment to meet strict cleanroom cleanliness standards.
- Follow strict protocols for entering and exiting the cleanroom, including gowning procedures and airlock usage to prevent contamination.
- Collaborate with quality control and engineering teams to resolve any cleanliness or assembly issues.
- Stay current with cleanroom best practices and participate in ongoing training sessions.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of cleanroom processes to improve efficiency and product quality.
- Ensure full compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations specific to cleanroom operations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience working in a cleanroom environment, ideally within the aerospace or pharmaceutical sectors.
- High attention to detail and ability to carry out repetitive tasks with precision.
- Familiarity with cleanroom protocols and contamination control practices.
- Ability to interpret and follow detailed work instructions, diagrams, and technical documents.
- Good manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination for handling delicate components.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team.
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and work in a cleanroom suit.
