Our client based on the outskirts of York are looking to recruit an experienced Account Manager
To manage a facilities management client.
We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Account Manager to join a friendly, professional, driven company that prides itself on being the UK leading training provider in their industry.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and nurturing the business relationship, ensuring their needs are met, and providing solutions that support their training growth.
This role requires a strong combination of account management skills, excellent communication, and a deep understanding of B2B processes and dynamics.
Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for the assigned business client.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with the client, ensuring satisfaction and trust.
- Understand client goals to provide tailored training solutions
- Answer incoming calls and be responsible for dealing with training enquiries and provide accurate and correct information.
- Collaborate with the sales, marketing, and operations teams to ensure client needs are effectively met.
- Monitor account performance and suggest improvements or additional services
- Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure the successful delivery of services and products to clients.
- Drive client retention through exceptional service delivery and addressing client concerns promptly.
- Update the CRM database with all client information ensuring that contact and company details are correct and up to date.
- Reply to customer emails and calls in a timely and professional manner.
- Control of expenditure to fulfil the contract requirements through a purchase ordering process.
- Attend exhibitions throughout the country as well as attending client meetings with colleagues.
Skills and Experience:
- The Successful candidate will demonstrate the following strong sales and account management experience
- A background in account management
- Can clearly demonstrate strong client account management skills and development of accounts
- Excellent communication skills along with clear and confident telephone manner.
- Professional approach as working and representing professionals in the marketplace
- Ability to build strong rapport quickly
- Ability to think on your feet and demonstrate the ability to consult and understand your clients’ needs and match accordingly Identify revenue opportunities
- Ability to build customer relationships.
