An established accountancy firm in Ashford is looking to further strengthen its team with an experienced Client Accountant.

Responsibilities for the role of Client Accountant

• Play a crucial role in the team by supporting a diverse client portfolio
• Lead the preparation of statutory accounts, handle account preparation, attend client meetings, and work closely with the engagement partner
• Collaborate with team members to ensure expectations, deadlines, and budgets are met
• Review account files and assist with tax planning processes
• Provide mentorship to junior staff through constructive feedback and knowledge-sharing
• Evaluate current processes and implement more efficient service delivery methods
• Contribute to growth by networking regularly and proposing innovative ideas for expansion

Person Specifications for the Role of Client Accountant

• Must have previous experience in building and supporting a diverse portfolio of clients
• Experience in leading preparation for accounts and reports
• Attention to detail
• You will need to be an excellent communicator
• The ability to build and nurture business relationships
• You will be highly self-driven and attuned to collaborative client relationships
• Ability to coach others for the greater good of the team
