Client & Matter Inception AdvisorLocation: Edinburgh Competitive + BenefitsAre you an organised and detail-oriented professional with experience in client onboarding and regulatory compliance? We have an exciting opportunity for a Client & Matter Inception Advisor to join a well-established professional services firm. This newly created role will play a key part in developing and implementing a centralised client and matter inception function, ensuring a seamless and efficient process for both clients and internal teams.About the Role:As a Client & Matter Inception Advisor, you will work closely with AML, Data, Legal, and Tax teams to create and manage client records while ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will liaise directly with clients to gather necessary information, ensuring a smooth and professional onboarding experience. This role also involves reviewing existing client data, identifying gaps, and supporting internal colleagues with process improvements.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement a centralised client and matter inception function, creating clear procedures and best practices.Act as a key contact for client and matter setup, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations.Liaise directly with clients to gather and verify required information.Provide client inception reporting and support internal teams with data analysis.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency.Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure seamless client onboarding.

What We're Looking For:Experience in client onboarding, compliance, or administration within a professional services environment.Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with clients and colleagues at all levels.Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.Proficiency in IT systems and data management (training on in-house systems will be provided).A high level of discretion and confidentiality when handling sensitive information.
