Client Delivery Manager - Data governance and TransformationThe Role

As a Client Delivery Manager - Data governance and transformation, you will manage complex client work to design, implement and embed data governance frameworks that drive tangible business outcomes. You will act as a trusted advisor, working with senior stakeholders across teams to shape their data strategies and deliver solutions that drive measurable business outcomes and ensure alignment with industry best practices.

  • Location: Central London office, with hybrid working and regular client meetings in Birmingham, Manchester and Leeds. Currently looking to expand further North in the UK; Candidates across the UK considered.
  • Contract type: Full time, with flexible working requirements considered.
  • Salary: £54,000 - £80,000 p.a. (dependent on experience) plus potential discretionary bonus.
  • Visa sponsorship: Unfortunately, we are not currently able to consider applicants who require Skilled Worker visa sponsorship, now or in future.
Requirements.

We’re seeking highly motivated professionals who can couple technical expertise in data governance and management with core consulting skills such as strategic thinking, project management and team leadership. Ideal candidates have the ability to influence and drive organisational change.

This role requires the following skills and experience:

  • 4+ years consulting and project management experience
  • Client facing experience and stakeholder management expertise
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent leadership and influencing skills
  • Data governance, management or strategy expertise, such as:
    • Implementation of data governance frameworks, policies, and best practices (DAMA-DMBoK or similar), or
    • Design and implementation of data management processes such as data quality, metadata management, and master data management.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management
    • Develop project plans and manage teams to deliver against them.
    • Work in an agile way to flex project plans in changing landscapes.
  • Team leadership
    • Lead and support the delivery of high-impact projects that communicate the value our clients’ data creates, risks to value destruction and opportunities to enhance it.
    • Mentor analysts and consultants to develop their core consulting skills and data governance expertise.
  • Client engagement
    • Manage client relationships and complex client stakeholder landscapes
    • Mitigate risk to project success through effective client engagement
    • Support your project teams when engaging with clients
    • Delight the client with quality work
  • Data Strategy and Governance Design
    • Develop and implement robust data governance frameworks, policies, and standards based on industry-leading models such as DAMA DMBoK.
    • Design operating models to improve data lifecycle management and streamline data onboarding across teams and systems.
