Role: Client Manager

Location: CheltenhamSalary: £40-45k

Overview

My client is an established firm of accountants who due to sustained growth are looking for an experienced Client Manager to join their growing practice and deliver the very best service to their valued client base.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage a portfolio of clients, providing proactive advice and tailored solutions.

• Lead client meetings and maintain strong, long-term relationships.

• Oversee the preparation and review of statutory accounts, tax returns, and other compliance work.

• Supervise, mentor, and support junior staff members.

• Ensure the timely delivery of services and quality work within deadlines.

• Identify opportunities for business development and growth.

• Stay up to date with accounting regulations and trends to advise clients effectively.

Skills and Experience

• ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualification.

• Strong experience in managing client relationships within an accountancy or professional services firm.

• Excellent knowledge of tax, accounting, and financial reporting standards.

• A proactive and solutions-oriented approach.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

• Team player, with leadership abilities and a desire to support others development.
