Role Responsibilities

• Managing a portfolio of limited companies, sole traders, and partnerships, ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance
• Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, tax computations, and VAT returns
• Acting as a key point of contact for clients, providing strategic financial advice and guidance
• Overseeing the work of junior team members, providing mentorship, training, and technical support
• Assisting in the development and improvement of internal processes to enhance efficiency and service delivery
• Identifying opportunities to provide added value to clients through advisory services and financial planning
• Keeping up to date with regulatory changes and ensuring compliance across all financial reporting

Candidate Requirements

• ACA/ACCA qualified or part-qualified
• Proven experience in an accountancy practice managing a client portfolio
• Strong technical knowledge of accounting, tax, and compliance regulations
• Experience in accounts preparation, tax returns, and VAT compliance
• Excellent client management skills, with the ability to build lasting relationships
• Strong leadership qualities, with experience in mentoring and developing junior team members
• Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise effectively
• Experience working with healthcare sector clients is desirable but not essential
