Onboarding Team Leader

A well established pharmaceutical company are looking for an Onboarding Team Leader to join their team on a 12 month basis. The Supplier Onboarding Team Leader is responsible for oversight of a team of 3 specialists handling end-to-end Supplier Onboarding Lifecycle and Maintenance of supplier records.
The individual will apply and ensure adherence to our Global Procurement Policy, and will be required to review and challenge any new supplier requests, if alternative Buying Channels or Preferred Suppliers already exist. As well as Leading and motivating the team, this individual will also be expected to perform the routine Supplier Onboarding tasks and approvals.
The role:
- Onboarding new suppliers or updating existing records, and maintaining oversight of the onboarding/amendment request through to completion whilst providing proactive updates to the business requestor throughout the process.
- The individual will apply and ensure adherence to our Global Procurement Policy, and will be required to review and challenge any new supplier requests, if alternative Buying Channels or Preferred Suppliers already exist
- The individual is encouraged to build positive relationships with business partners, team members and develop a solid understanding of business continuous improvements and undertakes initiatives in making the supplier onboarding process future ready.
- As well as Leading and motivating the team, this individual will also be expected to perform the routine Supplier Onboarding tasks and approvals.
Requirements:
- Onboarding experience (3 years)
- Experience maintaining supplier records
- Experience managing a team/leadership experience
