Are you an experienced Client Accounts Manager looking to transition into a Director or long terms Partner Designate role at an established firm of chartered accountants? We're seeking a dynamic individual to join our client’s team as a full-time Outsourcing Accounts Manager or Director. This role offers the opportunity to take charge of a diverse portfolio of SME general practice clients, overseeing their outsourcing needs.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Manage a full portfolio of SME clients, overseeing outsourcing requirements.
  • Proactively contribute to fee development and actively participate in networking and BD events.
  • Supervise and review the team's bookkeeping services, management accounts, and VAT services.
  • Demonstrate strong IT skills with the ability to adapt to in-house systems.

Client Base: The clientele spans various industries, including manufacturers, professional service firms, IT developers, property developers, hospitality businesses, and not-for-profit entities.

Personal Attributes:

  • Efficiently control your portfolio, from staff planning to WIP management and billing.
  • Cultivate and strengthen client relationships, both existing and new.
  • Showcase commercial awareness in fee development.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for client queries within your portfolio.
  • Demonstrate proactive awareness of current legislation and compliance standards.

Team Collaboration:

  • Delegate tasks effectively and provide mentorship to the team.
  • Offer constructive feedback to junior and senior team members.
  • Manage the team, ensuring high work standards and progress monitoring.

Skills and Experience:Personal Skills:

  • Confident and articulate communicator.
  • Previous experience in an accountancy practice is essential.
  • Professional and well-presented.
  • Patience in training colleagues.

Your Experience:

  • ACA/ACCA qualified with a minimum of 5 years of UK practice background to a supervisory level.
  • Previous management experience of a UK team with 3 or more staff and a portfolio value of at least £300k.
  • Commercial and proactive approach to client development.
  • Has the right to work in the UK without Visa support
