Job Description :

This individual will be responsible for managing key client relationships, ensuring seamless support, and developing the function into a strategic pillar of the business. With a deep understanding of prime brokerage methodologies and a problem-solving mindset, they will act as the first point of contact for clients, providing technical expertise and exceptional service. As the first hire in this role in the UK, this person will have the opportunity to shape the function and, as it evolves, take on leadership responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop a deep understanding of their platform, becoming a ‘super-user’ with a strong grasp of the system’s functionalities, calculations, and how it integrates into client workflows.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with clients, ensuring their needs are met and acting as a trusted advisor on all product-related matters.
  • Take ownership of client inquiries, troubleshooting issues independently before escalating, and proactively identifying areas for process improvement.
  • Stay ahead of client needs by providing insights, product updates, and strategic recommendations to enhance their experience and optimize their usage of our platform.
  • Actively participate in industry events, networking opportunities, and face-to-face client meetings to strengthen relationships and promote the company’s presence in the market.
  • A mindset focused on building and expanding the function, with the drive to take on greater responsibilities as the team grows.
  • Work closely with internal teams, including sales, product development, and onboarding, to relay client feedback and contribute to continuous product enhancement.

Requirements:

  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to quickly grasp complex financial systems and calculations.
  • Hands-on experience with hedge fund financing, securities lending, swaps, and prime brokerage operations.
  • Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and presentation abilities, with the confidence to engage directly with clients.
  • Ability to work independently, take initiative, and drive projects forward in a fast-paced environment.
  • A mindset geared towards growing a function, with leadership aspirations as the team expands.
  • Strong understanding of industry trends and developments, with the ability to translate them into valuable input for product development.
  • Willingness to attend in-person client meetings and industry events in London and potentially Europe.
