This highly reputable global asset manager, based in the heart of the City, offers an opportunity for a dynamic Client Services Account Manager to join their accomplished client servicing and marketing team. The role involves supervising a team of five, responsible for supporting Client Relationship & Sales Managers and pension fund clients in the UK, Europe, and the Middle East.
As the Team Manager and Senior Client Services Associate for German clients, you will act as the first point of contact for clients, providing dedicated support to Client Relationship & Sales Managers across the UK, Europe and Middle East.
You will perform your duties as a Client Services Associate and senior member of the team, while mentoring a team of five. Prior team management experience is advantageous; however, candidates demonstrating the aptitude to lead, mentor, and coach small teams are also encouraged to apply.
In this role, you will take responsibility for existing and prospective clients, blending your client servicing and analytical skills to support new business opportunities. This includes producing ad hoc investment reports for existing clients, driving the RFP process for new client acquisition, conducting competitor data analysis, and leading ad hoc marketing projects. You will also take ownership of resolving technical client queries related to portfolios, trading costs, client reporting, performance and attribution, and benchmarks. Additionally, you will support sales activities and identify cross-selling opportunities.
This role requires a basic knowledge of fixed income concepts and proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Bloomberg, with impeccable attention to detail.
This role will suit Client Servicing Associates with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience, looking to remain or step up to management and work in a varied hybrid role that offers significant exposure to complex fixed income products. Strong client servicing and analytical skills are required to support senior stakeholders and the RFP process to attract new clients.
In addition, candidates will be degree-educated with a minimum of a 2.1 degree or above in a financial or mathematical discipline. Study towards IMC/CFA will also be supported.
