Clinical Manager (RMN/RNLD)

Hours per week:37.5 (plus on call)
Salary: £65,000 Per Annum
Hours:Full Time, Monday to Friday (9am - 5:30pm), including on-call responsibilities.
About our client:
Our client is seeking a passionate, focused, and experienced Clinical Manager (RMN/RNLD) to join their team.
Their facility consists of all-male unit spread across three wards: 19-bed acute service, 12-bed PICU, and a 15-bed Highly Specialised Autism Spectrum Disorder Service.
Our client's team is dedicated to creating a positive working environment centred on patient care and continuous service improvement. The Clinical Manager will oversee multiple departments including psychology, speech and language therapy, occupational therapy, and social work, supported by a strong administrative team.

About the opportunity:
- Provide direction and contemporary initiatives to drive and embed effective clinical practice and leadership for care delivery.
- Ensure the delivery of optimal clinical and therapeutic care, compliance with statutory regulations, quality standards, and key performance indicators.
- As a member of the Senior Management team, play a key role in leading and implementing the hospital strategy, offering operational and clinical leadership to the wider staff group in support of the Hospital Manager.
Essential experience and qualifications as a Clinical Manager:
- Experience as a qualified Senior Mental Health Nurse with a minimum of 2 years in a managerial role.
- Significant experience in leading teams and/or senior practice-based work.
- Proven ability to interpret and analyse complex information and manage challenging circumstances.
- Experience in partnership working with statutory and voluntary agencies.
- Expertise in setting, monitoring, and evaluating standards for high-quality care.
- Proficiency in preparing and presenting reports at senior management level.
- Ability to drive change across professional boundaries, including practice, culture, and outcomes.
- Experience in setting therapeutic boundaries with patients exhibiting challenging and high-risk behaviours, requiring advanced interventions for effective de-escalation.
- Ideally, experience with patients within similar service lines.
- Experience working with partner organisations, commissioners, and external stakeholders.
- Advanced communication and presentation skills to inspire and motivate others.
