This role is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced solicitor looking to manage complex, high-value claims while working in a supportive and dynamic environment.Role Overview: This position is ideal for a Clinical Negligence Solicitor who is passionate about making a difference in clients' lives. The successful candidate will manage a varied caseload, including cases involving catastrophic injuries, and work closely with the Head of Clinical Negligence to ensure the highest standards of legal service.Areas of Work:
- Handling a diverse range of clinical negligence claims, from initial investigation to settlement or trial.
- Providing high-quality legal advice and support to clients, ensuring their needs are met with empathy and professionalism.
- Liaising with medical experts, barristers, and other professionals to build strong cases and negotiate settlements.
- Ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements and firm policies.
- Collaborating with the Clinical Negligence team to share knowledge and support junior members of the team.
Desired Experience:
- Extensive experience in clinical negligence law, with a proven track record of managing complex cases.
- Strong communication and client care skills, with the ability to handle sensitive situations with tact and understanding.
- Experience in managing high-value claims or claims involving catastrophic injuries is desirable but not essential.
- Membership in relevant professional bodies such as APIL or AvMA is an advantage.
