Location: Aintree, NHS

Contract Type: Ongoing Locum Contract

Duration: Minimum of 3 months, with the possibility of extension

Pay Rate: £35.00 per hour

Working Hours: Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:45 AM - 5:00 PM

Job Description:

Trident Healthcare are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Pharmacist to join an NHS team at Aintree NHS on an ongoing locum contract. This role is initially for a minimum of 3 months, with the potential for extension based on performance and departmental needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide expert clinical pharmacy services to patients and healthcare professionals.
• Conduct medication reviews and ensure the safe and effective use of medicines.
• Cover both wards and the dispensary, ensuring comprehensive pharmaceutical care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care.
• Offer guidance and support on pharmaceutical matters to staff and patients.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Requirements:

• Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC).
• Proven experience in a clinical pharmacy setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
