Clinical Psychologist - Piers Meadows Recruitment : Job Details

Job Title: Clinical Psychologist (Band 8a/8b)Location: Prestwich Hospital, Northern Care AllianceContract: 6-month Fixed Term (ASAP start)Hours: Monday - Friday, 37.5 hours per week

• Provide highly complex psychological assessments and interventions for patients.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team (MDT) to support individuals with gastrointestinal conditions.
• Apply advanced clinical expertise to deliver specialized psychological care within a medical setting.

• Education: BSc in Psychology (or equivalent), plus a postgraduate Doctorate in Clinical, Counselling, or Health Psychology (or BPS Statement of Equivalence).
• Experience: Previous experience in a medical setting, ideally within MDTs and with a focus on gastrointestinal health.
